Lisa Sanchez, half Cuban, half English has felt the groove from a very early age. A diverse artist who absolutely loves to sing and dance and whose fascination and love of technology led her to set up her own small studio.
Apart from singing with various bands, Lisa really started her career with the release of her first dance single on Debut Records. She collaborated with producers on different projects, for material released on various independent dance labels. Session work included a track for Graham Gold of Kiss FM, a track with Sounds From The Ground on their acclaimed chillout/dub album, 'Kin' among others.
Lisa has performed as lead and backing vocalist with numerous professional bands at venues all around the country and Europe. She then set up Groovestar, where she could perform as a solo artist and with other musicians as a duo, trio or even a full band. She has worked with some of the best session musicians in the country, and with her versatile, powerful voice and charismatic personality, Lisa provides a show that's full of energy and spice.
